Research Scientist
About the Job: We have openings for Research Scientist in the area of molecular diagnostics development. He/she will perform experiments and data analysis independently. He/she will assist in experimental design in the areas of nucleic acid extraction, PCR and quantitative PCR, isothermal amplification, hybridization and probe/primer validation.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct experiments in the assigned projects;

R&D Technician
Responsibilities:
- Conduct experiments in the areas of nucleic acid extraction, PCR and quantitative PCR, isothermal amplification, DNA cloning, bacterial culture, etc.;
- Report experimental results, progress and problems to supervisor;
- Lab organizational duties such as sourcing of laboratory consumables, preparation of reagents and buffers, calibration and maintenance of laboratory instruments, related documentation;
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Higher Diploma or above in molecular biology, microbiology, biochemistry, or other biotech-related disciplines;
- Hands-on experience in basic molecular biology techniques

Mechanical Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the development project of an in-vitro diagnostic device;
- Responsible for mechanical design for cartridge loading system with fluid handling system;
- Responsible for electro-mechanical and pneumatic module design as well assystem integration;
- Conduct manufacturability review for parts and system design;
- Develop and review technical drawing and tolerance stacks;
- Conduct design verification testing of developed prototype and to develop jig and fixtures;
- Conduct design risk analysis and technical documentations as required;
- Conduct patent / literature search on current and new material, technologies and processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree or above in mechanical engineering or related field;
- 2 years relevant working experience preferred;
- Previous experience in electro-mechanical product design and development with medical device, diagnostic device, particularly in the areas of fluid management, microfluidics, pneumatic design, imaging is an advantage;
- Experience in mechanical design CAD tools such as SolidWorks is a MUST;
- Good technical experience in design, debug and problem solving;
- Experience in DFM, DFMEA is a MUST；
- Experience in Heat and Fluid Simulation is a PLUS；
- Mature, responsible, independent, detail-minded and able to work under pressure;
- Positive, self-starter and willing to take up and resolves technical challenges;
