Dr. Sue Tsang Associate CSO
Dr. Sue Tsang graduated from the University of Cambridge in UK with an BA(Hons) degree in Natural Sciences before obtaining her PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Aberdeen. Dr. Tsang obtained her post-doctoral training at the Chinese University of Hong Kong before moving to the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology where her work focused on the etiology of schizophrenia and cancer genomics. She was laboratory manager of the Applied Genomics Laboratory at HKUST and has over 30 publications. She has vast experience in scientific writing and project coordination. Dr. Tsang joined HKLife in 2020 and is currently responsible for project management and grant and patent applications.
Dr. Bobby Anye Zhang Research Scientist
Dr. Bobby Anye Zhang graduated with a bachelor degree in clinical medicine from Shandong First Medical University and obtained his master degree in internal medicine (infectious disease) from Zhejiang University. He then earned his PhD degree in Hepatology from the University of Hong Kong. Dr. Zhang has rich experience in diversified clinical and research environments and industry, with proven results in clinical microbiology and internal medicine. Dr. Zhang has served as an attending physician at the Eighth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, engaging in clinical, research, and teaching work. Additionally, he has held positions as a lecturer at the School of Chinese Medicine, Hong Kong Baptist University, and as the Science Project Director at the Hong Kong Biotechnology Organization. Dr. Zhang is a member of the European Association for the Study of Liver and serves as a council member of the Gastroenterology Department of the Shenzhen Medical Association. He joins Hai Kang Life Corporation Ltd. as Research Scientist and is responsible for developing clinical operations, medical affairs, and regulatory affairs.
Dr. Rosy Xinyu Zhuang Research Scientist
Dr. Rosy Xinyu Zhuang graduated with a master’s degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, majoring in accreditation chemistry, and a Ph.D. degree from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, majoring in chemical and biological engineering. She has focused on the field of in vitro diagnostics and large-scale screening, and was engaged in high-resolution melting curve analysis of nucleic acid for many years. She published 6 journals with high-impact factors and filed 3 patents. Dr. Zhuang is Research Scientist at Hai Kang Life Corporation Ltd., and is responsible for the development of the Bioradar® system as well as the development of bioinformatics tools.
Dr. Wade Tianxiang Wu Research Scientist
Dr. Wade Tianxiang Wu obtained his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2022. His research primarily focused on the development of novel environmental and biological detection methods. He has published six SCI papers in internationally recognized journals such as ACS Sustainable Chemistry and Engineering and Analyst. Dr. Wu was an engineer at Nano and Advanced Materials Institute, specializing in the research and development of construction materials, with a primary focus on modified nano-silica and 3D printing formulations before he joined Hai Kang Life Corporation Ltd. as Research Scientist, where he is involved in development of the Bioradar® system.
Mr. George Chan Director of AI Department
Mr. George Chan graduated from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, specializing in artificial intelligence (AI), image processing and information security. He has over 4 years of experience in image processing and is proficient in computer network and information security. Mr. George Chan joined Hai Kang Life Corporation Ltd. in 2018 and is currently Director of AI Department, responsible for AI components and network architecture in the BioRadar® System.
Ms. Iris HO, BSc Chip Production Leader – Focus on Chip Production
Ms. Iris Ho is a chemical engineer and received her Bachelor’s degree from Guangdong University of Technology. Before joining HKLife in 2015, she worked at several globally renowned manufacturing enterprises, such as Philips, NXP Semiconductors and Johnson Electric which equipped her with proficient technical and management skills in the production line. Currently, as a Production Leader, she is responsible for the preparation and production of EFADchip®.
